Summary of the main activities: The laboratory has as purpose to investigate the creative/design and cognitive processes of artists/designers/architects, through cooperation between these respective fields of knowledge and Neuroscience. It also aims to investigate the creative and cognitive processes of the participants/users, based on their experience with projects and works of art concerning the neurophysiological / emotional behavior of their organism, as well as investigating the consistent correlations between the creative / design processes and above-mentioned cognitive; the development of innovative interactive interfaces that are attentive to the neurophysiological / emotional behavior of users, such as wearable bio-computers and intelligent bio-textiles, which provide organic interactions with digital systems (Games; VR Apps; Mobile Apps; among others) through neurophysiological EEG signs; EOG; Heart Variability; among others); and the Development of multidimensional and transdisciplinary methods, techniques and technologies, which focus on the articulation of Neuroscience with creative processes from different fields of knowledge and the contribution to the areas of Art, Architecture, Design, aiming to promote Education, Health, and Wellness.

Summary of the main activities: Fluxus brings together researchers from different backgrounds - from professor to high school students - and from different areas: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism, naval engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, environmental control technology, state academic military officer, biological sciences, economist and law. Researches and projects contribute with new approaches and methodologies for participatory, inclusive and sustainable urban planning. Through the work of its three thematic lines, the group has a strong focus on teaching and research aimed at community outreach activity.

Summary of the main activities: The laboratory aims to investigate and apply the fundamentals and procedures that involve the creation, design and restoration processes, in their most comprehensive spheres. It also aims to investigate the trans-disciplinary articulations in the fields of Art, Architecture and Design aimed at theoretical-practical investigations in space, in the aesthetic, perceptual and cognitive dimensions; as well as the application of Neuroscience principles and concepts in the context of Heritage, aimed at studies on memory, identity, and belonging.
