Beyond aesthetics

Reflecting and transforming the art’s image

The early project for the undergraduate course in Dance of the Unicamp Arts Institute was designed by Antonieta Marília de Oswald de Andrade, who introduced it in 1985 alongside a group of dance professionals. In the last 25 years the course has pursued an ideal present in the initial project: to bestow on dance the status of knowledge area within the university.
